Mid-Blue started life in June 1988 by four like-minded
individuals in the then system 38, 36 and AS400 market places. The four
directors brought together their combined knowledge in hardware and software for
the IBM mid-range systems. The company from the outset has always concentrated
on products from International business machines (IBM) being the pre-eminent
computer supplier in the world.
During the last 14 years the company has grown and
diversified in to more products and services without losing the mid-range
equipment from IBM at the centre of all activities. These included moving into
consultancy in networks and configurations on in house systems. Having worked
in over 2000 different sites over the years, our engineers have a wide and
varied knowledge of the different topologies employed by businesses in the last
decade.
Because of our pre-eminent attachment to IBM equipment
we became a fully accredited IBM business partner in 1995. This now allows us
to supply new equipment with full manufacturer support and warranty, bringing
an even high standard of service and support to our customers. With the
ever-changing environment in business we are currently helping our customers to
find the most suitable platforms and application to carry us all thought the
Internet age.
